Number plates for Griffith

Got mine from www.fancyplates.com, they will make exactly what you ask for, be sure you tell them the rear is for a TVR though.
I've just ordered a new registration number from DVLA and need some plates made up. My local TVR garage is quoting £44 for the rear plate, due to it being transparent, and cannot/will not make the front one as I want it smaller than "normal"

Fernhurst will probably do a small one for the front. They supplied one for my Griff back in Feb without my asking. (Just bought it from them)

Give Connor a call, at least you can be sure the spec. is going to be correct. He's very accommodating.

I had this problem when I wanted to order some over Xmas. Sent him an e-mail with a screen dump of the order details, then phoned him!
BEWARE REAR TRANSLUCENT PLATES from here. The first plates he sent me had ordinary yellow perspex for the rear. Translucent, yes. Reflective, no!. After buying an alternative rear plate he e-mailed me with an offer to replace this as he just found the correct materials. I accepted this and he sent through another rear plate. Better, and almost translucent but at least it was reflective and as I don't use the car much at night I fitted it. It did not pass the MOT though recently - but the guy let me off with a "notation" as he could not actually verify it was lit during the day.
'Phoned Connor today, and the plates are now on order. I've ordered a smaller plate for the front, hopefully, to further help cooling. I gues I can fix the old one over it for MOTs! I assume that "unorthodox" spacing of the letters also fails the MOT? Can anyone recommend how to fix the back "show plate" so it can readily be swapped with a standard plate (on old backlit Griff)?

My plates use smaller fonts with a tripple gap between first three leters and the number (just looked better) and the front is only 450mm wide. This did not bother the MOT man, possibly because there was no blatant changes to anything to make it read differently. It was still quite legible.
