Rockinham crowd off campus Sat night?

Anyone thought about a meet or gathering (maybe at a decent boozer) for any that are attending both days but for whatever reason aren't going to the circuit based evening do... there's quite a few PHers in the vicinity and maybe a chance to do something locally?

Off the top of my head "The Castle" at Caldecot has a large car park. It's 2-3 miles from the circuit.

Locals will get uppity about noise/congestion and I'm not sure whether the food is up to speed after a recent change in management...The Castle prolly ok or there's the White Hart or Queens Head at Lyddington. Tons of choice actually, especially if 2-3 miles becomes 9-10. The Snoots gets my vote (local will know why)!!

I'm not going to Rockingham but could be around Saturday evening.....

What about meeting near Rockingham (e.g. the Castle at Caldicott) then having a Rumble to show "the visitors" a bit of the area ending up somewhere like Lyddington, Medbourne, Hambleton, Ashby, Manton, Luffenham or even Don Pad's or the Vaults with the cars in Uppingham square etc? Depends on numbers interested cos a lot of places will be booked for Saturday evening.
