Just had some excellent service from these guys again by the way, Mark in parts went out his way to find me a bit I needed and didn't charge.
They also have a really good selection of cars in at the moment.

Yep, I'm up for it if you are Al? I was down your way last week - just exploring the roads (which were full of suicidal sheep trying to eat the cats eyes). We should be going to Gorners - happy to go over in convoy from God's country!

Cool. I'll be going across (in theory) on the Sunday for the bacon butties and the drive out.

There don't seem to be that many W.Yorks TVRers using this site regulary - a few, but not many.

If anyone from Yorkshire fancies going across we can easily meet at Hartshead services - Any takers?

I've just been to Gorner's this morning to pick up some new rubber seal for my roof/ windows. (Pre ordered it obviously)
The guy on the parts desk is great....really friendly and knowledgable
I asked about changing to white indicator lenses for the front, and he showed me the reversing lights instead. Apparently they fit perfectly !! Only £15 a pop too ! The repeaters he told me to get from Halfords, 'cos they're cheaper !

Anyway, just thought I'd add my two penneth in.
Seem like a realy nice bunch !

I wish I could make that weekend, but I'm away, so I'll just have to wait for the next one. (Mr Sails if you're reading).

I was at Gorners a couple of days ago, they all are very keen and appear to be trying very hard. Some of the mercs are impressive, did you see the £139,999 (550bhp) monster on the turntable?

I saw it, but didn't really look at it........I just got my stuff and went really. (Had to take someone to the airport so was in a rush).

Will have a proper look round next time I'm there, picking up the reversing lenses to swap with my indicators probably......

Yes, they do have the Speed Twelve GT race car there, but it is not yet on public show, its stored in a workshop round the back out of public view. If you want to see it I would suggest that you give them a ring and see if they will let you have a peak. I suspect that it will be on display for a while after the Gorners open day, I just hope they get the number 91 LeMans car fixed and at Gorners in time for the open weekend.

I've just had a look on their website. They've got a small picture of the Speed 12 on their NEWS page. Can't wait to see it...and seems as though it's going to feature in some new video game.

Richard...don't worry! I was in Gorners this morning and they were expecting the Le Mans car and the Tuscan at lunchtime. Just been on the News page on their site and I see it's arrived.

I was there this am too, just to see the Speed Twelve......what an awesome car that is.....got taken round and shown the workshops and the cars in there (Rebuild job for the factory, some ex S Club 7 blokes Tuscan etc).......what a fantastic setup they have there..........

Wish I was able to attend now..........never mind....next time !
