Isn't *urea-formaldehyde the binder used on fibreglass?

Hence the smell.

*Urea comes from urine and no, I'm not taking the pi$$

Saw it just by chance. It looked stunning and basically they raved about it. Can't have done TVR any harm and wasn't it fast?I want one but I want to keep my Grif as well.Together, what a pair (of TVRs)
to have in the garage.
Oh well, have to put in a few more hours at the day job.

Do you have Sky, it's repeated Saturday nights on UK Horizons 8pm and 9pm on UK Horizons+

(It's about 2-3 weeks behind so it won't be this weeks ones)

I want one so bad it hurts...

Speaking about the smell - this weekend I went out to build kick panel speaker pods for my Saab out of fibreglass. I got as far as finishing the driver's side outside in the sun (31 degrees C) before I got really sick - it's like I caught a bad cold. I could not sit in the car for more than a few seconds (doors opened) without getting a nasty sting in my eyes.

Does that mean I would be more susceptible to fibreglass odors (even long after it's cured) than others, and driving around in a closed-top car with fibreglass bodywork in the sun would not be a good idea for me?

I was surprised that the T350 was that fast around the track, everyone knows the noble is a great track car but the Tiv was still up there, and it was faster than the new lamborghini Murcielago.

I'm thinking of getting one, if only thay would galvanise the chassis. Would the factory do this if requested by the customer?

No. Due to the method of fabrication if you put a TVR chassis in a hot dip galv tank it would twist and distort to buggery when all the welds pulled, its not a practical solution.
