On Saturday 13th September.

A group of us went last year in a convoy arranged by our good friend Bluethunder. This year we plan to do the same again if anyone is interested.

We have a basic plan which goes something like this

7.45am meet at Clackets Lane services on the M25 westbound, plan to leave at 8.00am

8.30am meet at Pease Pottage services on the M23 southbound, leave by 8.45am latest.

Mad blat to Brighton to bring the seafront to a standstill!!

I hope to have secure parking arranged at Brighton Marina, details to follow soon. It will be about a 20 minute walk to the start of the speed trials, last year a group of us had breakfast on the seafront.
After that you are on your own...any takers? If so please reply so I can arrange parking.

Nick

Cool more support for the Cerb - we'll be there competing. Its dads first time and hes never really done a quater mile sprint before so dont expect miracles. Still, nice to have some TVR support!

That was a fun drive last year, not sure if I can make it though as there’s a wedding in the family, you’ll need someone else to pick the pace up down the M23

What time do the trials start?

Mmm Woking via Brighton

Hi Nick

Yes I'll be coming down and for anyone planning to come from North London how about we meet up at Jnct 26 on the M25 in front on the Marriott Hotel. Due to the roadworks, it'll have to be a very early 6:45am meet, sorry folks. Drop me a line if you want to meet me here - I'm also likely to link up with others at Thurrock services at about 7:15.

Sound like a great day out, don't forget your cameras.
