Hi

Does anybody know any details of the guy who i believe used to work for Team proactive but now works independant in Stourbridge?

Also has anybody used a rolling road setup that they could recommend in or near to the West Midlands? Cars running ok but i suspect it could do with a little tune.

Thanks Lee

Joolz uses John Noble motorsport here in Chesterfield, if that's not too far away.

Lee: if you feel the old girl is a bit lacking in punch these days either
1) you've got used to it!! or
2) there's something wrong with it!
If there's something wrong and your local indie can't sort it then it's really a job for mark adams who can read sensors in real time off his laptop and pinpoint a fault in a tenth the time or less of anyone else not having this valuable tuning aid. Most rolling road places are limited to altering fuel pressure and ignition timing, but Mark has been proven to find little bits of power lurking here there and everywhere, and every little bit of power you find makes your car faster (big yay!).
Give him a bell and see when he's free.

I am not sure whether you mean Horizon Motorsport - they are in Cradley Heath, which is near to Stourbridge. I take my cerbera there and am more than happy with the service - they specialise in TVR. Their number is 01384 566660.

Horizon Motorsport have an ad in the TVR Sprint magazine in the classified section - that's how I found out about them. Its run by Mike who is an ex-TVR Tuscan race engineer - nothing is too much trouble and the car comes back immaculate. He always offers me a cup of tea and you get that individual service that you don't get at a dealership. He isn't expensive either which was a nice surprise. He had a couple of other cerberas and a TVR tuscan in his workshop last time I was there. Must admit I was a bit unsure about leaving my car with an unknown but when I him and saw the nice clean workshop - I had no reservations.
