Just a big thanks to all who organised and attended this... Ed Hasler, Slamm, Griffy, Chinny, zzr1100, Big T and Alf Essex.

Had a great drive up to Northants... having caused havoc at Castle's by meeting Alf there, and picking up Ed's Tuscan.

Lovely drive through the countryside... great fun trying to find Petrol too... but a great day out, and highly entertaining following Ed's GPS jobbie, which I am sure took us in a circle at one point! Congratulations to Big T, who took a wrong turning, ended up on the A10, and then proceeded to do a half-donut in the middle of the carriage way to turn it around!

After a great day, we headed off to our B&B (thanks Ed for organising that for me!) to set off a car alarm in the car park. Man appears, turns it off. Alf manages to set it off again. Man appears (looking a little pissed off) and turns it off again. Funniest bit was repeating this process as we left in the morning...!!!

However, the night got funnier. Picked up our keys and we all headed upstairs... we found our rooms... and opened mine to find lingerie and kinky boots over the floor must admit, at first I though it was you lot that had done it! Anyway, once we'd finished laughing, I trotted downstairs explained the situation.. and said "if she's attractive I'll stay, otherwise I'll have another room".... I got another room.

Down in the bar, some girl was singing away, and as we left, asked "why are you going, my singing isn't that bad!?" to which I (tactfully) replied "well if you're paying for the drinks, we'll stay, otherwise you're awful..!"

Dinner... well... dinner was hilarious. Chinny, you are one funny guy...! I really don't think I've laughed so much in ages... my sides hurt... and the fact that the other couples in the restuarant were trying to have a rmantic meal just made it funnier...

fantastic day out... must do it again sometime.

The sat nav knew exactly where to go - it was me who didn't turn left when it told me to!

We then had to go in a circle while it recalculated the route, as I had absolutely no idea where we were!!

Bloody good weekend though, and I've not laughed so much in ages!

Given the fact that our friends in the postal service are having a break... I'll bring it with me to BTaP, rather than mail it.

Still one of the funniest, most eventful days I've ever had... SOOO many things made me laugh.. but dinner had me in tears... Chinny is one funny bloke.

Days out like that are great... don't expect anything, and they turn out to be fantastic fun.

At the risk of sounding like a complete t*sser, did anyone post any times?

Or did you just watch?

Yes, next time can someone please tell me that the pit lane is actually furthest from the main gate ....
It was fun though.
