Is anyone from here going to Castle Combe on Easter Monday? Sounds like it could be fun.

Nacnud and I will be there, and no doubt a few more from the Bristol Club.

Look out for the bright yellow griff with a pistonheads sticker in the windscreen, and listen out for Nacnuds SEAC (Government Warning: Earplugs are advised)

Ok I’ll look out for you, I’ll be in the White S2, the one Johno was driving at the S meet. I see it got in the photos, shame it was missing a headlight rim.

I was told TVR parking is at tower car park? Which one is that?

Tower is down the far end.

So if you are coming from the A420, drive past the first 2 spectators entrances, past the comptitors entrance, past circuit motors petrol station, then take the next left.

If you are coming from the A46, take the right turn at the first spectators sign.

Must confess I didn't know there was a specific carpark for the 1st, but this is the usual area for the GT racing, so what the hell

I'm planning to be there. Will have to bring 2 cars if the Chimaera is to come though - can my Corrado VR6 be an honourary TVR for the day please?

If this good weather lasts - Castle Combe will be extra brilliant.

Went through Looe old town at 10:30pm last Friday while hunting for Fish & Chips. A real tight squeeze for a wide car like a SEAC. Boy - does that place resonate. Lots of 'What the f*** is that' comments shouted between pubbing crowds and one that made me chuckle 'Its got a UK numberplate'. Ahmmm - what's left of the exhaust is still attached to the SEAC, but they have got plenty of new scratches in their cobbles.....

See you all Monday.

Doesn't this clash with the GTs at Brands? Hard to decide where to go....

It does clash. I've just posted the timetable up again (link on home page now).

You can of course go and watch qualifying at Brands on Sunday and watch the Tuscans race on Monday.

Not sure if I should do Brands or Combe, sell either one to me someone!
Can't bring the TVR to either though as I'm going to introduce my daughter to the thrill of motor racing and I don't think the wife would like to be left at home!
Would anyone laugh if I bought my company car?

At last, the start of the season.

Shame about the clash with the GTs at Brands but it's no contest for me. Staying in the Castle Combe area for the weekend and doing a trackday on the Saturday as well. Anybody else on here down for this one?

If anyone interested, the TVRCC Cotswold 3 Counties section are meeting at the track to watch qualifying on the Sunday. Contact Dave Jones (see Sprint) if you want to join up with them.

The company probably would, how much are they selling it for?

Castle Commbe for me. It has to be one of the most friendly circuits in the UK! No officious security staff everywhere and an opportunity to walk round the paddock. Plus the chance for a good thrap along the A4

Best places to watch Camp and Quarry?

See you there, lets hope the Sun comes out to play as well!
