Well, here comes the second Sunday of the month, which means that it's time for a convoy to the Mid-Essex meet! Sunday 14th March sees the tenth Mid-Essex convoy..!

Following last month's… "entertainment" with the new route (and me losing half the convoy and ending up at the back, having led ) I'll be taking votes on whether to use the old or the new route…! However, the meeting place is still the same... the White Hart in Chelmsford!

Plan is to meet from 11:15... grab a quick drink and then leave at 11:45 to head over to Great Totham for the meet. Last month Reeso and I had a chat with the manager of the White Hart and he's agreed to open up early, so we can go in and have a coffee or a soft drink before we head off.

For those who haven't joined the convoy before.. come along, it's a bit of a laugh rumbling through some of the local villages... and it sounds awesome too!

So, post here if you're going to join the party... and if you need more details about the Mid-Essex meet, then drop Yellow Peril a line...

Alf Essex, are you doing the run from Southend way as per usual?

So, post up if you're coming along.. and hope to see you on Sunday... and fingers crossed for some decent weather!

Count me in - definitely coming this time, if only to hear the full ACT treatment!

As I missed last time, I'll abstain from the vote - don't know, don't care, as long as I'm in the rumble.

See you Sunday.

Look forward to it, been a while Kieran! The S got a few "sounds nice" comments on the Brighton Burble yesterday... really should get someone to pootle it down the drive so I can hear it!

Podie - don't forget, I'm holding you to the "you drive mine and I'll drive yours" promise. Would also be happy to form an orderly queue to drive it up the driveway for you to hear the exhaust - just don't let Ed touch it, not after Bedford....

Surely you'd be able to hear the burble from the exhausts better if it was coming up the drive backwards?

Perhaps a show of hands on the day would help to confuse the BiB a little more than a vote on here?

Barring any nasty surprises from my service this week, I'll be doing the Marriott thang again (10:45 departure). Ed, Mel, Tony, Lisa - if you're fixed or want a lift, (argh I've forgotten someone's name )?

If the weather is nice I will be flying on Sunday so won't make this one.

Anyway need some time to recover from my 'flying' laps around Bedford with Justin Wilson yesterday!!...what a great day see: www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=85862&f=13&h=0

Have fun - will be back in April.

Shame the Foresters doesn't have a wider drive.... we could have a drag (no, not that one again - save it for Christmas) up the drive, comparing sound/acceleration of modified vs. unmodified

Uh-oh, look out, here comes Pauline - Shhh, hide Don't think she saw us

Podie,

Let me know on Sunday what you think of the RWYB's as I was going to suggest something like that to YP but was not sure if it was peoples thing! I'll go with you, as it would be good to see if mine can really do a 1/4 in 10.2!!!
