Anyone would think that you're actually going to buy a TVR!

If you do get one while petrol is still available, then I'd recommend Steve Lewis for high performance tuition (as long as he hasn't retired by then).

I spent two full days with Ride Drive and I would certainly recommend them.

Im most concerned that if I actually get one I wont get to read so many funny posts!

HPC is another recommendation for the performance driving tuition.

I've heard 1st Lotus or whatever they're called are very good. I personally went on a "Creative Car Control" course with Don Palmer at Bruntingthorpe which although excellent, was twice the price of the 1st Lotus day.

I haven't been on a Ride Drive day but my girlfriend has done a 3 week course with the same people as she's a police officer and they teach them to drive as well. I've got to say that I didn't agree with most of what what she said she'd been taught each day but that could well be that the police are taught differently to us lot.

She did say that her instructor regularly took lots of TVR drivers out and that he'd recently had a booking from somebody who wanted to "realise the full potential of their Griffith" and his reaction was that "unless you go to an airfield then you're not going to safely do that". However, I think they can sort something like that out? Could be wrong though.

Have fun when you FINALLY get one!!!

All the best - Chris

Have to agree .... he got me to get even more out of my Griffith than I thought was possible ..

To the point where our afternoon was in the wet and the Griffith was the quickest around the course compared to a S2000, Elise 111s & 400se....

Brilliant bloke !

Another vote for 1st Lotus - I learnt a lot and he is exceptionally good value for money.
