Mid-Essex convoy (Number 11) on Sunday '11th April

Well, as Podie has not posted the thread I thought I'd take charge (come in Podie?) so anyway, here comes another second Sunday of the month, which means that it's time for a convoy to the Mid-Essex meet! Sunday 11th April sees the 11th Mid-Essex convoy..!
Following last month's record turn out (55 cars in all) lets see if we can match that! As always we will be meeting at the same place which is the White Hart in Chelmsford!
Plan is to meet from 11:15... grab a quick drink and then leave at 11:45 to head over to Great Totham for the meet. The manager of the White Hart has agreed to open up early for our meets, so we can go in and have a coffee or a soft drink before we head off.
For those who haven't joined the convoy before.. come along, it's a bit of a laugh rumbling through some of the local villages... and it sounds awesome too!
So, post here if you're going to join the party... and if you need more details about the Mid-Essex meet, then drop Yellow Peril a line...
I will be organising the run to the White Hart from Southend way as per usual, with a meet along the way on the A130 bypass.
So, post up if you're coming along.. and hope to see you on Sunday... and fingers crossed for some decent weather! As always please observe the rules of the road to keep our friends
happy.

I will be able to send details out until Wednesday ...then I'm off to the land of Leprechauns
and sexy Irish accents
I won't be at the Meet on Sunday (first one I've missed!!
) but will leave you all in the very capable hands of Diane...........
I have received a number of mails re my newsletter and a number commented on how impressed they were with the responsible handling of the convoy.

. 10:45 departure as normal.
I'm half tempted to do last month's route again, which would mean an earlier start to meet up with Alf. Let me know if you're interested in that or want to do the usual route.
PS: 10:45 is for the normal route. I'll negotiate with Alf if we're doing some of the other

More than likely I will unfortunately not be able to make both the convoy and the meet, as mum wants us all at home for a big easter dinner (mmm...turkey). However if dinner is early enough and if I can make it in time to get to the meet before you all leave, I will endevour to be there.

Err I think that would be a little difficult Alan as I don't see 9 of us fitting into the Tasmin...
Also I will have to pick up my fiance first and my dad will have to pick up my grandad and nan, which would make it a little awrkward to say the least.
Anyway I promise to make a much biger and better effort to make the convoy next month Alan.

I think it would be rude not to, so this would be the pre convoy breakie meet, pre the pre convoy to the white hart convoy
9 to 9.30 for breakie at the Westcliff Arches it is then.
