If my accident is on I will be interested to whether my recollection of what happened is correct.

My full race report and some photos are now up on www.andyholdenracing.com - with some behind the scenes photos to follow very shortly.

The car is being repaired as I speak. The damage to the tub was quite severe - not too bad from the outside, but everything has split and cracked inside. Even my seat broke in the impact

But like the Governor of California would say: I'll be back

Me too (especially as I'm probably partly responsible for you image of events). Unfortunately, being without any hi-tech satellite gubbins, I shall have to rely on PH for a detailed incident report.

Excellent. So good I watched it twice

After being rather bored by F1 (no, lets not go there again) it was quite refreshing to watch competitive racing.

Didn't see too much of the accident, just the car stopped against the barrier.

See that Charlie Kemp, I had him in the passenger seat of my Chimaera the other day...

I was disappointed the accident was missed by the cameras. I'm told it was fairly spectacular, but we missed all that and just saw me trying to remember to get out of the car afterwards.

From the little that was shown of the incident, it looks like I chose the wrong option and went to the right of Darren rather than to his left. At the time I remember thinking there was a gap, but the TV footage is different. C'est la vie.

The car is now off being painted - had a very long weekend grinding, fibre glassing and filling....

(And we've now found the steering wheel and another wishbone is buggered)
