TVRCC East Midlands - Today's meeting photos
Discussion
Great photos.
Set off for Coleby today, but then thought sod it. Turned round, and came back home. It was 11.40 before I got let out (had to cut the bloody lawn), and it would have taken too long to get there. I'd have missed most of the fun.
Hopefully i'll get to your next meet at Belper. Its a bit nearer.

Hi Corinne.
At the weekends, I find myself playing 'catch up' for the jobs I put off during the week. Cutting the grass is one. It takes at least an hour and a half.
Also just had a conservatory put up, so friday did the plumbing, and yeaterday did the wiring.
As I said, i'm going to try and get down to Belper next month. Hopefully see you there.

It look's a good meet, look's as if there are quite a few there. Do you know how many there was all to gether? The only problem was i was not there i was at the mid essex TVR meet today at the foresters.
A count up from the photos plus some folks having to park on the road and in the other carpark puts it at about 35 TVRs plus maybe 5/6 non-TVR (including our RO's Porker)

Jamer, you cheeky g*t! Just you wait, I bought some of that P21 stuff, and its brilliant! Rainwater just rolls straight off. I know, because it peed down today on the way to the pub.
Thought you would like that one, he was a nice chap from The Polishing company, his BMW estate he came in had a whopping 340 BHp
Great turn out and is great when the weather gets like that and we can all stay outside and look around each others TVR's
God but wasn't the traffic shocking on those small, narrow roads getting there.
My driving is bad enough at the best of times and the journey back was a very testing experience.
Especially when my wife looked up from reading her David Beckham article in the news of the world to find us flying towards two tractors while try to get by a 30mph horse box in the Cerbera.
It went something like this...
then ..
I thought "opps a bit tight I better put my foot down further" ...
Wife looks up after being absorbed in David Beckhams saucy text messages...
We get past traffic, with right foot buried into the carpet
she looks at me and says nothing..but sighs..
Off we go again..

I think I need a lesson from you James, I'd have got an earful from Mrs GCerbera.![]()
Was that 'sigh' achieved through years of experience or will she soon be
wearing some new jewellery?![]()
I spent the day today being very nice to her and even took the dog for a walk.
She realises that it was only done to test that the accelaration was spot on in real life and death situations!
Jewellery! I think she will take the handbag option as per usual..
I have a very special global positioning system fitted to her so I know where she is night and day...
This system is called my credit cards...only porblem is I find out exactly one month too late every time!
Good job I like her!
Obviously left at the wrong time, James. We had a nice little trundle back
only got slowed down a bit in Upton.
Cleaning yesterday and found a nice 1" x 8g pozidrive screw in the front n/s tyre. That'll be a good excuse to try a set of Toyos and the Race Teams tyre fitting expertise.

I was the last TVR out of the carpark!
As I had been busy chatting to everybody I thought it would be a good time to grab the Wax guy after he had finished with everybody.
The worst bit actually was the A46 from Newark..
Anyway it was nice to get out and the weather is definatly improving for the better, roll on summertime
