Dave,

I'm going to still be in Spain for this one.

Can you please remind people about the "Griff Growl" at the end of July.

Has Chris H (somerset RO) got an email?

I will try to ring Chris H this weekend to let him know the accom details for anyone that is interested.

zztop has all the details if I am unreachable.

D,

I've found us some cracking accom for the Growl.

Hopefully zztop has contacted you by now? I spoke to him earlier this evening, and it seems all "systems go".

Good price.
Great venue.
Loadsa parking.

£45 for a single, £60 a double/twin, all in.

Comms are a bit limited at the moment, so any way of passing the word would be appreciated.

By shame I won't be at the meet else I'd it from the rooftops.

Keeping the accom details close to the chest for just a few days, to ensure that our SW crew assure their digs.

If you have no idea what I am refering to please email me.

Sorry, cant make it on Sunday as I have a kick boxing competition in Plymouth.

Editited to say that competition cancelled, should now be able to go on Sunday. However, I just noticed the hill climb event on the Sturday, wont be able to do both unfortunately. Will have to make a difficult decision.....

I know what you mean jam1et. I have far to much DIY to do to justify both days... nice though it would be!

Went along to the Somerset meet last time, but fancy a bit of motorsport this time, so Wiscombe it is for me!

Anyone got any more details about the hill climb event? Times, directions etc? Anyone interested in meeting around Taunton area for convoy?

Perhaps it would have been a good idea to combine the Somerset Meet with the Hill climb on Saturday?

Jamie,
We're meeting up at Exeter services at 09:45 if you want to come along then. If not, Wiscombe is between Honiton and Simouth. E-mail me if you want detailed directions.

See link for limited info:
www.bristolmc.org.uk/Wiscombe/Wiscombe.htm
I am assured that some TVR's do participate in this round (they did last year). In any case, it's always entertaining.

I dont mind going 'via' Exeter, it doubles my journey but any excuse for TVR miles will do! Remind me which junction is granada services? I dont suppose it will be hard to spot you all in the carpark once I get there.

In answer to previous post, fortunately its not home DIY thats preventing me from going to both events - I have just got my new carpets for the Tiv and I need to get them sorted out this weekend. Once thats done, its off to TVR Bodyshop for respray, so I want to get it done asap!

Does anyone know the times of the hill climb for Sat / Sun. May try to do a bit of both with the Somerset monthly meet as well as I'm only up the road from the Haselbury Mill. A good excuse to wind up the Wedge for a couple of days.

John Mac, that link does't seem to be working for.

Ric P, not sure of the times through the day. It usually consists of practice in the morning and racing in the after lunch. Probably starting off at 10:00 ish?

D&C are meeting at Exeter motorway services at 09:45 (see other thread). Meet us there if you wish.

I'll try to find some more info in the meantime.

For some reason the link doesn't work from here but if you type it in it connects OK - just tried three times and it connected every time.
