TVR Exhibition in Germany
24 TVRs crop up in a German museum
Where would you go if you wanted to see a line-up of dozens of pristine TVRs, spanning the life of the company? Perhaps not top of the list would be Bad Homburg in Germany.
But a museum in this west-central city has put it firmly on the TVR map by organising an exhibition of 24 of the legendary cars. OK, so the exhibition took place at the end of last year, and it has been chatted about on the forums, but for some reason the pics have only just touched down on the PH news desk.
The exhibition is however on until March and starts with a ’62 Grantura MK II which stood forgotten in a disused factory hall for 29 years. There is also a Griffith 200, several Vixen S1 to S4, a Tuscan SE V8, a 2500M recently discovered in an old barn, a rare prototype Zante (New-York Motorshow 1971), a Chimaera and a T350C.
Finally, the very last ever built model Sagaris is situated at the very end of the show.
There are 25 Cars (not 24) shown at the exhibition. That is including the Zante Prototype.
@griffter: You will find two Chimaera in the exhibition, an orange Chimaera 400 LHD (1994) and a halcyon atlantis Chimaera 500 RHD (1998).
The silver coloured Vixen is a 2500 (not M) from 1972.
Some more pictures which provide a virtual round tour of the exhibition are on my web-site. The link is: http://www.acs-pro.de/7_15.html.

These cars should drive.
Dink, who has told you these cars are not driving? Join one of our TVR meetings in Germany. There you will see most of these and lots of other TVRs.

The group - I'm looking at over 40 at the moment - love their TVRs and we will do a bit of Germany, quickish.
