Hi Guys
Late posting, sorry for confusing anyone. Royal Oak is on the Aldershot Road. Not to be confused with the Moorhen or the Cricketers. Dec 8th is a meet, where you all turn up for for Sunday lunch and I cook it!! Publican/Chef. All TVR owners are welcome!! May even allow the odd foreign THINGGYY!!

Last year 14 Tuscans plus one Chimp attended (along with there owners). Was,nt aware of Pistonheads at that time so would assume an improved attendance this year. Will submit Menu in the next few days.

For those of you who have an interest in real ales, I have seven on at anyone time plus the usual draught lagers and ciders. A typical Sunday roast would consist of a choice of quality meats, roast poatoes, cheesey mashed potato, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, yorkshire pudding all served with onion gravy. If the weather is cold I shall make sure our three open log fires are well and truly up and running, ensuring a warm welcome to the Oak.

How many people are you expecting, do you want us to forward names? So you know how much you need.

David,
No idea at this stage!! What I do know is that the pub will be full by 1.00(as usual) so would suggest you guys arrive here as near as possible to 12. At a squeeze I can probably cater for 70 cars in the car park, here,s hoping all TVR,S.

Pubman, were you an Air Traffic Contoller in a previous life? It'll be a squeeze for 70 cars, or do you pack em, rack em and stack em I'd better park mine up the night before by the sounds of it

Hugh

With discipline 70 cars well possible, would you like to be the one to organise the parking??

Keep em coming

charltm said: Pubman/Geoff, great to know the Royal Oak's publican is a Tuscan owner! I spend a heck of a lot of time shooting at Bisley and often go to the Royal Oak in the early and late season. Off season now, unfortunately.

I want to figure out a way to 'happen' to drive past on the 8th with the girlfriend, so we can come in 'out of curiosity' when we see all the TVRs...

Otherwise I will ask for you next time I'm there in my denim blue 2001 Tuscan. Matt, drop in anytime, you will be more than welcome, re the 8th and the girlfriend, just say the car is "playing up"and conveniently pull into the Oak car park.

Near as possible to 12, expecting loads. If car park overloaded then I will make access to the garden available. If racked and stacked then 80 cars in the car park. Garden 3.5 acres. Problem I have then is fitting the bodies in the pub!!!! that,ll be fun!!!!
See you on the 8th!

mel said: Pubman, can you put up your postcode so we can multimap it. Me, Flasher and Scruff are in Portsmouth Saturday Night so put us down as provissionals for calling in on the way back home, hangovers permitting. Have to apologise in advance though as we will be in euroboxes due to staying in a none to secure area the night before, we promise to park at the back

Mel, Judging by the response you will be lucky to park anywhere, but more than welcome.
