Hey popeye what oil yer using.

O.k lots of disagreement I have had about what oil to use in my chim 500.

What type is your TVR and what oil do you use?

I am a Newbie.and my dealer has told me to use 5W.50.which appears to be rarer than a knats knobbles(whatever they are)!

Well dealer told me too use Mobil 1 5/50.

couldn;t get any so topped up with 5/40 instead only a litre but engine sound smoother already.Let you know how it's sounding next week after they have re-sealed the sump and put a new engine full of 5/50 in.....
