Bit quiet in here so lets get some good ol willy waving!

I've got this amalgamation of bits to fit, but i am waiting on shims from the States so i can fit the new valve springs to fit my camshaft.
My Inlet lobe opens further than my exhaust, so to obtain near the same open pressure then i have to shim the Ex valve more than inlet.
Another engine builder was meant to be doing this, but i dont think his heart was in it so i am doing it myself, at least he measured the valve stem heights for me, (i dont have the tackle), I have fitted new big end bearings (£50) and installed a decent size oil cooler, had to remake the back exhaust branch and engine mount to get the oil cooler take off in.

Additional porting with new multi angle valve job

Ports matched to ITBs, the orange glow at the end is where the 2.02" inch valve lives

Reworked and polished Exhaust port

2.5x the size of puny Rover heads i reckon?

So hopefully equals 650bhp at the crank, 15% losses 552.5RWHP! smile

Eat my dust Turbo Boyz.. hehe

Thats not like you Paul hehe

Looking good, i cant wait to see dyno numbers then the 10.5 at the strip.
Those turbo ans SC boys are only sucking 'n blowind on little RV8s. Some are producong some respectful numbers and there may be more coming out of the woodwork soon wink

I just hope we can all get together at the shootout and maybe another couple of meets this year.

Thats an impressive time with 'only' 1100bhp. Shows what experience and proper chassis design can do.
I like the stripes but think it would look better in blue.

Yep - you could pop down the shops for a packet of fags and no one would notice you.

Proper street sleeper.
