RE: TVR specialist Leven opens new service shop
Friday 15th October 2004
Leven Technology, best known for high quality accessories for TVRs, is opening up a new service facility in Essex.
The company has responded to the need for specialist servicing facilities in the area which despite being home to many TVRs, has lacked independent support for the marque.
Initially, Leven will specialise in servicing and upgrading Griffith and Chimaeras although it will also undertake some work on the newer cars too.
The man running the venture is Dan Taylor. He's very well known in the race community as being key to the running of Tuscan Champion Steve Guglielmi's race car, as well as being a member of the team that ran the TVR Le Mans cars, and more recently RSR's Tuscan Rs. His race experience followed training in a TVR main dealer.
Leven opens its doors on 1 November and can be found in its bespoke facility one mile from the A127 (M25 Jct 29 towards Southend).
If you're curious to have a look around before booking your car in, Leven its opening its doors on Sunday 14 November from 9 until 12. You'll be able to meet Dan, view the facilities and snap up some special offers from Leven's range of TVR accessories.

Discussion
I think it would be good if Mid Essex could meet up at Leven that morning and then run on to the Meet.
It was discussed last week after the Meet, but I was going to run the idea past Jules and Si before doing anything in a newsletter.
We can be a bit much if Mid Essex all decide to turn out!!!
I'll give Jules a call and see if she can cope with us all in one go

Must get my shiny stuff list ready for the 14th - look forward to catching up with you Mid Essex folks
Thanks for all the support and positive comments.
We think that the car park can hold up to 50 cars (we had 30 odd last time!) so come on over, all regions welcome. Nearer the time we will try to get a head count so that the coffee and bacon rolls do not run out!
We look to seeing you all on the day.
