My Tamora is blowing the shared fuse for brakes/reverse lights the moment I engage reverse. It blows with the bulb in or out and as the wiring all looks sound around the boot area I guess it's got to be a short in the switch or chafed wiring. Can anyone tell me where I can find the switch - not inside the gearbox I hope....

If it's the same as the T350, it'll be on the right, next to the bottom of the gearstick.

Take the top of the gearknob off, undo the handbrake sleeve (small hex nut) and slide off. Remove transmission cover- one screw either side of tunnel near your knee. Lift up then undo the 3 handbrake surround bolts from underneath (10mm I think). Remove alloy handbrake surround and then lift the transmission tunnel cover out. Remove the felt around the gearstick and you should see the switch, opposite little brass arm with a ball bearing on it, roughly in the "5th gear" position.

After that you're on your own. I only went in there to adjust the little brass bar so the reverse light would work.

Good luck.
