TVR Sagaris changes emerge
Latest pictures of production car from ride & drive day

The TVR Sagaris is to have its controversial wheel arch vents sealed, according to a source who took these pictures of the first production Sagaris at a Ride and Drive Day at Belfry, at which over a dozen TVR dealers were present. Apparently, the tyres were flicking up muck and stones onto the paintwork and chipping it. However, you will be able to order the car as a track day special without the vents sealed.

The first production Sagari (pl.) will, we hear, arrive at dealers on the week of the 21 February -- all will arrive on the same day to avoid the competitive issues that staggered timing can generate.
Isn't that even more pointless than having them? They were bad enough before but were justified as being necessary for aerodynamic reasons.
I must say, though, the Saggy-arse is starting to grow on me a bit.

Cant understand the Vent reason liek others said/foam mesh etc retractable vents at a push of a button
nice idea. Makes you wonder though that if someone buys one(non trackday special) then takes it on the track at a later date how well the brakes will perform... if the vents do that a good a job of cooling.
Guess the answer is to all order the Trackday Special.. is that gonna be more or less

I'm sure there must be a solution to keep them, but it would probably just cost too much.
Awesome motor! It may tempt be back to the fold

I can see where the comments about Max Power-esque styling come from, but I think the slats and vents look fantastic on the Sagaris. It's a good contrast to the smoother styled Chims and Cerbies, and the also gorgeous, all-curves Tuscan.
Gimme, gimme, gimme!!

What's with these side exit exhausts? I can't see any technical advantage so I guess they're doing it for cosmetic reasons. But I think they look ugly from the side and terrible from the back. The original 'fat bum' design was appalling, the current one isn't as bad but still doesn't work for me. Does anyone think they look better than conventional rear exit exhausts?
I asked about the side exit of the cans sometime ago, i was told at the time that the Sagaris uses the Tuscan S exhasut system and tuning, which is longer than the T350, hence they had to turn them to side exit at the end or they would stick too far out at the back
