Nice one Si, didn't realise it was a 4.2 or that it had 12 injectors, pretty favourable report too

Road test is a bit of a strong term I think; it didn't go on a road and they didn't test it!

"The production run may well stay at only 1" - I hope not! We need to get rid of the weight and restrictors for Le Mans!

Its not...I spent the day up at the factory (Dads birthday) and most of it was spent in the 440 area, they have a waiting list untill the end of 2005 at the moment.

There was a orange one up on the ramps which I belive should be having the engine put in today.

Not my cup of tea the 440...couldnt see over the steering wheel and would have no chace parking it...cant tell where the nose is...!!

I know - I just thought it a tad concerning that they were implying it wasn't going to become a full production model. Talk about quality journalism! At the current speed we'd only got about 5 before the end of 2005 though! Do you know how many cars TVR aim to produce per year once in full swing?

No idea about production, but for the price of carbon fibre, they will use the structural strength of the material. In other words, TVR will try to build the carbon out of one or a few large pieces. This will increase the lead-time of building the car immensely.
Well, if the car is rigid and low cost, prospective owners can wait ... ?
