Help me out, boys and girls ...

I'm giving some very serious thought to getting a proper grown up Triumph.

I love the spitfire .... but we all know they have big shortcomings.

My thoughts, at the moment, are either a TR4 or TR6. (Don't mean to upset anyone, but the TR5 just doesn't seem quite right to my eyes).

So, without wanting to sound like I'm trolling too much, can any owners give me the plusses and minusses for each and what to be careful of when viewing prospective cars. Also, pi or not pi ... is that a question?

Yes, it's underpowered. It's also hardly got the best roof (not that it ever gets to see rain). I find the offset pedals awkward on a run anything longer than an hour. There's a few other niggles ... but most of them bring a smile until they really get annoying (long runs).

Basically, I was after owners' opinions on the TR4 and 6 ... I just think they're more 'grown up' and I reckon I'd like to get one or the other. Tha's all.
