Oh I agree, it shouldn't be compulsory, that would be socially unfair. I run all-seasons on the kids' Yaris too, a pretty good solution too actually.

Or just more able to work from home when the weather is crap. smile

When it's just cold though, they're fine after a few hundred meters.

In fairness, I am the only weirdo at work in heavy snow so it feels like home.

Sadly, my NS2r 180 aren't fine after a few hundred meters, or even a few miles. But then again they also take 2 laps before they work too so at least that's consistent.
