Old clay bar

I found some detailling clay still sealed which is 8 years old! It was 'put in a safe place' and not moved since.

It's quite soft as its been inside all that time, so should I use it? The wrapper is in tact, but would the age be a problem? After all clay is always 'old' isn't it?!

If its been wrapped up and clean, can't see an issue, lube and go!
