How to stop red paint fading?
Discussion
I've inherited an older Astra finished in flame red. It is badly faded/oxidised and had a matt pinkish finish. I've had very good results using a dual action polisher and fairly coarse polish, luckily for me the paint is pretty thick although Vauxhall didn't use a clearcoat for this colour. The car is coming up in a uniform colour with a glossier finish. I'm going to finish off with a much finer polish to remove the remaining marks left by the initial polishing.
My question is, what recommendations do people have to prevent future ultra-violet attacks on the paint?
What sealants/waxes can filter out the UV which, I believe is causing the problem?

Nothing else needed once you've done the final finishing polish.
If you intend on layering it (3 layers is good and will last Months) you should mix it with ZFX which makes it cure quicker. That way you can get 3 layers on in a day.
To maintain the look, you can use any quick detailer after every wash and use Zaino Z8 a couple of times a Month if you want.
