Reviving faded red paint on fibreglass bodied car

Just bought a red Lotus Élan +2.

The boot looks like it was off a different car and, unlike the rest of the paint, is faded.

Which off the shelf stuff should I use? I expect t- cut is too aggressive.

Is that menzerna usable by hand? I am not a car polishing guy and don't have electric polishing machines etc
