Just saw, at around midnight, on the A229 heading into Maidstone town centre, a red 1970's Aston Martin Vantage, very closely followed by a grey Ferrari 250 SWB!

Did I see LordBretSinclair of this parish travelling north on the M5 near Taunton this morning in his MGB??

Also saw an Alfa Spider and a Midget in the lanes near Sidmouth.
Hey, yep that was me, coming back from a meeting in Exeter smile

The Aston was at the local garage having de-cat pipes fitted so I got the old girl out.

Did you wave or were you in a daily drive????

I was heading south in my wife's people carrier so no waving but I did point your car out to my youngest who likes a bit of car spotting.

Lovely scene at my local indy this morning as I was picking up my car. They guys here LOVE cars and every visit turns out to be a 25 minute yarn about something or another petrol related. The owner is off to Portugal in Oct to race a mate's classic Bentley in a 24 hour race.

We have a facelift BMW E30 in the end bay, a well used chrome bumper B outside and my neighbours immaculate petrol green/cream 500 SEC having a radio fitted nearest the camera.

I spotted this 1934 Singer Le Mans on the A41 on Saturday and then saw it again the following day at Prescott.

It has been mechanically restored, but the owner describes the current finish as "camouflage."

Is that just off Amwel Street? If so I've seen some lovely cars in there. You could eat your dinner off the floor. It's so clean in there.

That's the one, good skills. Browning's Garage. Thoroughly recommend them and as you say, often something really interesting tucked away in there.

Spotted this yesterday, presumably a recent import?

(Edit: I'm told it's a 1914 Chater Lea)

Day 5, with photos from Whitby, York, York and Whitby

I also saw this, which it turns out is a UMM Cournil, made in Portugal from '77-'79.

Really? Crikey, people get upset over things like that? What an odd world.

So this would bother people too then I'm guessing nuts

Yes, there's no way they should have that wheelbarrow perched on top of that scaffolding! biggrin

There was a Datsun 2000 Convertible outside our hotel last night here in Port Angeles, WA.
Never even heard of one before, nice looking things.

A terminological inexactitude?

Yes, a result of me forgetting to post this.

Day 7 - Photos 1 to 3 are from the car park at the Pickering Traction Engine Rally

I saw the Land Rover across the river from the window of our apartment, so I decided to take a 20 minute walk to photograph it. The Volkswagen was a bonus.

Got a stall up at Battlesbridge today, not a bad turnout considering the weather. Few random photos from the early morning wander..
