If the engine and transaxle are good then that's a bargain for a racer.

I'd definitely be tempted if I didn't have a workshop that always seems to be full of old rally Porsche's and quirky old BMW's wink

Just make sure you get home tomorrow and don't get blown away, we've got work to do wink

Oh, also, lets buy a 928 and turn it into a classic tin top racer...

I agree but I think I'd probably favour starting with a base shell with better torsional rigidity than a Swiss Cheese Melt wink

If you and Talkwrench were to take her on I'd let her go for £1000 including delivery to somewhere in Yorkshire on the condition that I got the first passenger ride once completed!! wink

Even if it was like a big piece of grilled cheese, some judicious strengthening and a big weld in cage will stiffen it up like a giant Viagra.

Its an S4> style body, but I couldn't find a picture of the Riviera Blue Future Classic S2 race car.

The beauty of a racer is that all of the corroded and spoilt parts that will bankrupt you trying to repair can all be thrown away. Providing that the engine and transaxle can be salvaged then youre onto a winner.

Yeah yeah, but racing is for poofs as I know we all agree.

Real men like me enjoy something a bit more involved.
