It's based on Midget/Sprite mechanicals, I Think BL owned the company at the time.(another one of their lost opportunities I guess)

Looks more French than Italian to me. Has a whiff of Simca about it.

From the left, I'm thinking BMW E24, Mk3 Escort, Transit, Fiat Strada 130TC, Montego, B1 Passat, Scirocco??, Scimitar, Renault Fuego, white van, black saloon and Mk 2 Fiesta.

That white G12 is nice though isn't it! 

Anyway, some don't know what a G12 is, even on here.
