26 years and never turned a crank! Porshe 928
Discussion
Just to bring those of you kind enough to show an interest in this topic full circle, I sold the car to a very nice gentleman from Leeds who is planning to bring the best of mine and his 928 together ( My body definitely! as it's better than his!!)
So thanks to all of you who offered such words of encouragement, "he must have balls like space hoppers" was a particular favorite!![biggrin](/inc/images/biggrin.gif)
Cheers

Well done. Does the man from Leeds know that he has to post on here?Hi All
Is anybody interested in continuing this thread which I have just picked up on ?
I bought a 928 as a resto project a couple of months ago and can contribute in what I hope would be in an amusing fashion.
A previous contributor is ID'd as - the car behind is a TVR - well my previous was a TVR which I used mostly to go places to buy bits to keep it on the road and I lost lots of money on it. One hopes the pundits are right and this 928 is an ascending classic. It is -
1984 928 S2 manual in white bought as a non runner but approaching MOT readiness.
My doctor advises that I should keep mentally agile and do Times X word and sudoku etc - not really my bag but a 928 with electrical problems and a wiring diagram from Dr ING h c F Porsche is an answer to the above.
I like the American advert line - If you want to go any faster than this you will need a flight attendant -
