Ray Fielding's Maserati, originally a 1952 A6GCM serial number 2038 with a 6-cylinder 1,987cc engine that was a works car in 1952 and acquired the following season by Swiss driver Baron Emanuel (better known as 'Toulo') de Graffenried.

Karl Ludvigsen once sent us the image you show above, heavily doctored to feature another engine and extra set of front wheels, with a message along the lines of "Fancy having a go at this?".I of course immediately grafted on a Broadspeed GT rear end and sent it back to him, looking a bit like this cobbled-together image except done on photocopiers and fax machines as I hadn't heard of PowerPoint at that stage. I called it the Broadspeed GT6.
