How about a 'period' classics pictures thread

Also had this little ex American LHD Lamborghini Urraco pictured off the A3 about 25 years ago.
It originally came with these strange Gotti competition alloys
It took 8 months for Campagnolo in Italy to complete my order for a set of original spec wheels - but I think it was worth the wait.
This car I really regret selling and now lives in the Noritake collection in Japan

Taken in Ranelagh Gardens in Hurlingham circa 1979.
Can you believe the old advertising hording possibly dating from the late 50's / early sixities that was 'exposed' before the latest ad was pasted on.
Ah yes...Craven A. Can you believe the old advertising hording possibly dating from the late 50's / early sixities that was 'exposed' before the latest ad was pasted on.
I sold a few of those during my time as a Rep' for Carreras Rothmans Cigarettes back in the 70's. First tipped cigarette I'll have you know.
I wonder if my old company car has been preserved... Cortina Mk3 in full Rothmans Kingsize livery.
We also had a group of promotion girls running around in Dunhill liveried Lotus Elans. Lucky devils. Only the area managers could get within miles of those ladies.
1966. My E93a based special that I built in my parents' front garden and when completed I had to take down their fence to get it out; I sourced the parts from scrapyards,
including Jaguar instruments of which the speedo read 90 if I could get it up to 60.
I wish I still had the number plate.
It's along side my friend's father's Imp.

Browsed old photobooks and found these:
Somewhere early 80s winter my dad lost track and hit a car: total loss.
Drenthe 1978, regular stock.
In 1985 I made my first abroad trip: Paris with my mate Eric. Typical Paris traffic.
1987 Rotterdam harbour - when it still held ships! - I loved the Audi 100.
Rotterdam Graaf Floris straat and the nicely lit TA.
I was surprised to find this . . . Nice, but it has to go. Cleaning up the attic!
