I thought ill bung my 71 Karmann Ghia into the mix.Italian design and German engineering not a bad combo
Certainly a distinctive car and a rare sight now outside car shows. Have you ever seen its big brother- the Ghia Willment Cobra? A 427 Cobra with a Ghia body- I think unique. It featured on the cover of Car in the 60s and I was utterly gobsmacked to see the same car at Silverstone Classic 3 or 4 years ago ; spent some time talking to the owner. Not a pretty car but sooo striking . coppice said:

Very striking indeed, here it is at Le Mans Classic a few years back. IIRC there were a few V8 Fiats also done by Ghia with the same body design as well.Awesome and brutal, but i'm not sure it falls into 'most beautiful'.
Flame shields at the ready but I think there is a difference between beautiful and handsome. There are a lot of handsome cars here but fewer beautiful ones.
To be beautiful, to me. needs a certain delicacy and purity of line. For instance as a serial TVR owner I admire their handsome looks but beautiful? Not so sure.

They did versions based on both the XK120 & XK140 too which I quite like. I love Sir William's originals of course but the Ghia SuperSonics are very striking.Awesome and brutal, but i'm not sure it falls into 'most beautiful'.
