That Blue Capri was registered UMX 555M.

Again 1986, This Auberghine 3000E was a lovely car, shod with Cosmics, originally an Auto but converted to manual. It wasnt that quick off the line, , due i now realise to the Auto diff. Sold it foolishly with anothe Silver 3000GT to a guy from Maidstone way. Think the reg was YCF 346K.

A couple I found in my parents' old photographs:

I'm guessing that they're taken from the "in the future, all people will travel and eat like this" tower at Lancaster (nee Forton) Services on the M6.
Brilliant. My folks live just up the road from here. Interesting to see how it looked when it was all new!

My dad had quite a few Volvo's in his lifetime, this being the 1st one I remember riding in.
(a 144 DL). Check out those fancy reclined seats with 'headrests' and huuuuge bumpers!

Here he is with his first BMW, a 1989 525iSE. We all loved this car though, somehow, I was always ended up getting the job of cleaning the alloys (went through a fair few old toothbrushes!).

Somewhere in the south of France.

He eventually replaced with it with a Volvo 940 SE which felt sheet after the lusty Beemer. The 940 got chopped for another E34 for a few more years before going back to some more Volvos (850, S60, XC70).

Unknown location for these possibly Herne Bay or Edenbridge - anyone recognise the area?

...because this one you can see a now and then.
This one is St Annes Drive Herne Bay - a dated 1988. The 'quality' of the photo is similar to the other 'unknown' locations so it may be around the same time/location. The shot below is from Google Street View - not much has changed!

Taken at a classic car meeting in around 1971 at Hockley Heath

Me proudly driving my 4 year old Dolomite 1500HL in 1981 Bridge Street Stratford on Avon.

1982 my workplace Stratford on Avon

Turning the clock back to 1972 and a visit to Blackpool. Note the triprint high tech idea.

1972 back home and view from my parents house, extra points for identifying cars under the snow
