If I'd realised that this thread was still 'alive' I would have taken a photo today of one of those ghastly Lexus 4x4s parked next to our Midget and a proper Mini. I know the Midget and Mini were intended to be small and the Lexus is on the upper end of the size scale, but it was about twice as high as the M.G., twice as long as the Mini and 150% as wide as both.
