How long has it been sat there gathering dust out of interest?
I last drove it about 16 years ago so it has sat for a long time.

Picked my daughter up from horse riding this morning, she was still on her hack so I had time to wander around the yard (which has a few old barns let to body repair shops etc) and stumbled across these;

Merc 2.3 16v

Not a 2.3 16v - you can't get them in white.That is standard 190 with after fitted rear spoiler

Hardly a classic but this is currently taxed according to the DVLA but hasn't moved in 7 years.

If you are considering restoring it, get on it now as parts even for the alter models are starting to become tricky to find.

smile
...and if you're not considering restoring it then drop me an email! wink

Very cool. Can't remember ever seeing one in the flesh. Must be very rare in RHD. Looks eminently restorable. I like the period anti-theft devices on the passenger's door.

If you call Mercedes Benz Classic in Germany, they will restore your car using original parts and return it back to it's former glory. They also have a sales channel and the preparation of the cars are amazing. The E500 they have for sale is up for €50,000 and looks like new:

Fiat 130 coupe very cool for cats. A workmate had a silver P-reg 1976 coupe many years ago with blue suede seats. I think they were nearly all 3.2 V6 3-speed autos. Lots and lots of bodyfiller on that car. And then some more. Then just a light skim of filler on top. Paintjob lasted 6 weeks before it all bubbled up again.
Did they really have a hand-operated cruise-control throttle between the front-seats or has my memory finally broken?
