I am agog at how you identified the Australian Falcon even though I mistakenly described it as an American car. Anyway here's a glimpse, in the bottom right-hand corner, of the offside front wing. I think that this establishes it as a Falcon.

Only guessed because I owned one many years ago. However, that front corner suggests it is an XY Falcon rather than an XW.

Surprisingly could actually be true, as long as the engine is not rusted up internally and still turns over, these old engines are so simple & robust you just have to add fuel, check plugs points etc. and they will fire up
