Congratulations, that makes you one of the 'almost none'.

There are a few round this part of ULEZ East London.

Often see a BMW 2002, Mustang, Lotus Cortina Mk II, Rover P5B, Saab 96, Citroen DS and various old Mercs. All regularly driven and in all weathers.

Still, statistically 'almost none'. No ones saying there are none, as you clearly attest. You're just being a bit PH here.

The reasoning is that there are very few 40+ yo cars on the road, and almost none of those are daily drivers.
I understand, but fast forward a few years and the 'classic' car with the smokey exhaust will be getting a great deal of attention with questions being asked as to why it's exempt.

Are you fitting your old tractor with a DPF and an SCR system? Or would that be totally and completely pointless?

… but a GPF wouldn’t, or a catalyst. If it only saves one child etc.
