I didn't know that. Thanks. Were they still called Countryman(s)?
Travellers were Morris and Countrymans were Austin. Both were avaliable with or without wood.
The only differances between the Austin and Morris cars were the badges and grilles.
Every days a school day
My Mum had a Countryman - CTU 632B
Centre of Peterborough last week …
All from a village show last weekend …
‘Factory-looking’ droptop conversion XR2 - it looked just right.
Chevrolet Biscayne
Mercedes 280SE - love the colour - no idea what the official name of it is though …
Car of the day for me - lovely ‘67 MkII in a grey - again unsure of the actual colour - paired up with an Oxblood interior. Not overly restored and just looked ‘right’ …

There is also a lovely Cortina Crusader Estate adjacent to the Black RS2000.
Isn't it a Carousel?Crusaders were available in more colours. They came about two years after the Carousel. Single tone with chrome bumpers or two tone with black bumpers.
I know of one local dealer that 'made' a two tone Crusader that went out with chrome bumpers. Popular choices were red over silver and blue over silver.
