Again?
This has been proven to be a modern joke.

I had a Ti in this colour (Moonstone), first car I owned with a Tachometer and decent performance! driving
That was a rare car when new.

Talbot didn't sell many Series 2 Ti's at all.

I only ever saw one Series 2 Ti in Moonstone....was parked up near a special stage exit in Cumbria on the RAC Rally in 1984.

I bought a black Series 2 Ti back in 1986, and in the 2.5 years I owned it, I only ever saw a couple of other ones. Used to see Series 1 Ti's around, but Series 2 ones were few and far between. One of the bigger Talbot dealers of the day (who was a bit of a Sunbeam-Lotus specialist) told me in 1989, that he sold no more than a handful of Series 2 Ti's when new.
I never realised it was that rare at the time!
I was a massive rally fan and the Lotus Sunbeam was just too much so went for the Ti.
Loved it but an Opel Manta GT/E was calling so sold it. Hay ho.
