It seems the current review of the legalities of hiring a car, be it taxi, private hire or wedding/funeral car is likely to recommend sticking to the status quo

not bad for a £500,000 review...

I was hoping to see the end of those god awful stretch limos.
I do occasionally drive a wedding car ,Bently Turbo R,XJ6 or a Rover P5.

not for wedding sadly but when it comes to private parties, stag/hen does, prom nights they are liable for a nicking

no plate/no COIF/no driver CRB...etc
