No tax discs after October...
Discussion
So, will you be getting a repro disc to display on your car/bike instead?
I reckon they'll look quite cool. I've found a couple of sites that do them, one charging £26 (where I bought some 1928 tax disc cufflinks for my brother from ages ago, and they're very good quality) and another that charges £7! As we'll have quite a few I may have to trial order a 7 quidder and see how it looks.

Just ordered one of your £7 link, will let you know how it turns out. Seems like a nice honest dude earning a buck on the side, can't blame him in that.
Good man!Are you getting him to fill it in for you? My handwriting's terrible

I think I'm going to order a 1928 one tonight, but I can't decide whether to get him to rubber stamp for Bournemouth, where my brother's bike was registered or not. Also - as stupid as this sounds - I assume I need to order a 1929 one for a 1928 bike..?!

Just to be pedantic an FX registration is Dorset! It's the last two characters that designate the district and XH is London so the research was correct.I agree, it looks like great value for money. I will be ordering too, I guess this man is going to get quite busy.

I'm pleased he'll get busy, as mentioned above he seems to be a bloke trying to make a buck doing something he knows about. And the recommendation is good too, so I'll be ordering soon

Here is what Greg said:
The suffix XH was a London registration on the earlier (up to early 60s) list I have, but is missing on the later (64 on) list, so I suppose it was discontinued. I’ll put LONDON on unless I hear otherwise from you.
