I'd call C on some pretence, and work the conversation around to the fact OH and you are visiting, see if she gives any clues, if not, broach it yourself and if she insist she intends to grass you up highlight the fact she could be seen as vindictive and a bit jealous by others if she dibbed you in to cause distress to OH. If she clams up you can bet it is about you, in which case I would part cough the job to the OH by laying a bit of poison ( C is neurotic, reads too much into things, you feel sorry for her, she must be lonely, clearly an attractive girl but not long term relationship material,

IMO* it's not - but come on, that doesnt mean his nice sweet teacher girlfriend WONT make his life unbearable for the act, unless you are the one bloke thats never come across an unreasonable women?
