Slippers rock! Or try slipper socks, thick woolly socks or ski socks.
yes absolutely necessary in my cottage, flagstone floors down stairs which are freezing cold and wooden floors upstairs
What people really need are hand knitted socks. They are so amazingly warm and thick. But you'd have to learn to knit first hehe

The 'indoor trainers' would go nicely with stripey leisurewear, imho.

Are cosy feet acceptable for a 30 year old? If so, get some of these from Draper of Glastonbury. They're so nice to have on your feet that you won't care whether anyone thinks they're cool or not, and so well made that they'll outlast most pairs of shoes. Mine are about 5-6 years old and I wear them whenever I'm in the house. They could do with some new insoles, but apart from that they're like new.

Hi Rob.

OP, slippers are totally unacceptable before you are 40, and then only because my wife forced me to wear them...

If you're gonna wear those I'd give up right now. You may as well get some of the speshul croc mammoth shoes instead.

Ignore him - they are perfectly acceptable. Anyone willing to have cold tootsies in the name of fashion needs their head read tongue out

ETA: I'm sat next to one discarded slipper right now. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE KITCHEN FLOOR - MOVE IT!!..... and they are voluntarily worn by a 23 year old, ergo, my arguement is upheld.

Slippers are WRONG, only your Dad wears slippers. But yes, M&S do some nice ones in furry burgundy. What next, men's handbags? It's a slippery slope...
