I recommend Cadbury Flake easier to melt with a little heat to grab onto the stake on the trap.
Or peanut butter (no melting required).ASDA midget jems!!

Personally, I'd save my money and buy a couple of humane traps (I think mine are called 'The Big Cheese' of something of the like) and they work wonders! I ended up catching over 40 mice that way and drove them over 2 miles away to some woodland and now I'm rodent free!
Caught our one last night after 2 days of trying - been living behind the sink unit in our new house. He was quite cute - took him across the field and let him go.This morning, less than 12 hours later, he was back in the trap, only this time with a friend!
Now they have a new home 1/2 a mile away the OTHER side of the river - like to see him get back this time

Hmmm... has anyone had this problem and got a good / effective way of getting rid - they're keeping us awake with the noise! We have tried poison and traps and although we catch a couple, they're still here.
Anyone used the ultrasonic / electromagnetic devices and are they effective?
Be good to hear advice !
We've got 2 electric thingy's and they've made no difference whatsoever. Anyone used the ultrasonic / electromagnetic devices and are they effective?

We've also got 3x lazy-ar$ed cats who make no effing difference either.
I put down 3x snappy-traps in our loft and they made no difference but the humane mouse trap caught and killed one of them (which it shouldn't have done - killed it that is).

Sticky paper! I've used in many times, works a treat. Give the stuck mouse a smack on the head with a hammer, corpse in the bin, job done.Anyone used the ultrasonic / electromagnetic devices and are they effective?

If you're smart, you can peel the smashed fellas body off the sticky paper and re-use it. His fellow mice don't seem to mind the blood stains.
