I HAVE A TICKET FOR TOP GEAR NEXT WEEK
Well deserved too, although Tallbloke should be there too i think, the 2 of you were the driving(no pun intended) force behind all this.
the ticket was from a friend not from TG directally
I would inform TG that you have a ticket to go, tell them who you are and ask if you can take tallbloke too? I'm sure they wont mind.
Ive been waiting for 5 years, dont think i'm on the list anymore

So, how was it?
It was agreat day out. It was interesting to see the show last night there was alot that was filmed that they missed out. Its really hard to get yourself in shot now they have doubled the crowd size i did see myself a few times but they were only in the general crowd shots. I got to meet richard hammond after the show which was amazing hes a really nice guy. and hes very greatful for everything we have done for the YAA. If you can get hold of a ticket its definatly worth going to

Has there been any further mention of a ceremonial cheque presentation to the YAA at all recently, or is that idea a bit of a non starter?
There are some plans being made. It will be done when the new helicopter arrives. The BBC will be there as well. Dates and Venue are TBC. We will be getting as many PH Memebers involved with the day as possible. As soon as i have confirmed details i will make an official announcment

I suspect that the delay about getting onto the show is because they always have roughly 50/50 women and fellas in the audience but at a vague guess the applicants are 90% male... apparently if you apply as a ready-mixed group you might get in faster... PH group visit, anyone?!
Its more to do with the large volume of people that want to go on the show. Up to this seriese they have only had 200 people in the audiance per show now they have upped this to 400 to help reduce the backlog. The mixed group this is just a condition of the ticket. when you apply for tickets you apply for up to 4 tickets you dont have to specify groups or names and to be honest there were alot of un-mixed groups there on wednesday and they didnt seem to fussed

The car owner is blaming hammy for the accident. Can anyone make sense of this article? He seems to be claiming the moon is made of cheese!

So, PH readers are now believing the Sun?
It is a very long way from 'He could have done things differently' to 'it was his fault'
Here we see the media stirring up trouble. Unless.....

Bizarre. Perhaps he thinks Hammond should've noticed the tyre delaminating, which was clear on the in-car footage, but, as Hammond rightly pointed out, he was concentrating on other things at the time. When the blowout happened there was no time at all to deploy the 'chute.
As an aside, he was a bloody brave bugger to get in that thing with such a sizable crosswind.

Roy Orbison wasn't blind. Idiot.
