Anyone know what caused it exactly?
ok this is bugging me and my boss too. Not the fact of what caused it as such, but more so why was UK Lincolnshire named as the epicentre????It was all very British wasn't it? I half expected Alan Bennett to appear and say something like "Ooh dear, I hope Thora's willowpattern is alright. She's been a martyr to it since the blitz". Millions of people making cups of tea at 1am, tutting a bit and going back to bed. Then in the morning lots of people saying "well I felt something but I thought it was Bernard's flatulence".

Ground swelling back up after the ice sheets went north. I fink."The Government is to introduce a new earth quake tax, people who live within 20 miles of an epicenter will have to pay a £400 earthquake tax. Environment minister spokesperson, Gaia Otterthrottler, said that the only way to stop this earth quake behaviour was to tax those responsible.."
