I hate tents.

Although when I was a younger man I often went on camping holidays.

I used to tell the ladies I was an intents lover, only when we got back to the campsite did they understand they had been the subject of a shabby chat-up line.

If I go can I stay in a nice 5 Star nearby?

no one mention any affiliation to Pistonfest Pistonheads or any word beginning with Piston

So the camping is free ? Having just bought a new tent for Le Mans I am keen to get some value out of it

Am trying to convince the wife that society can't function without "rules"

Don't panic, everything I'm doing here is cleared by Ted before I do it.

Nope. It's camping and a BBQ at Cadwell.

PistonFest is still simmering on a back burner. Got a meeting with someone in a few weeks time to assess viability of a bigger event in 2007.

I used to have an 8-berth Conway trailer tent. Could have rented it as a mobile hotel
OK, so 4 would have to share the foam beds and the rest on the floor, but plenty headroom and en-suite cooking facilities, fridge, electric lights and gas heating are things you dream of when you're huddled in your igloo in the p155ing rain trying to get the Trangia lit at 0700, or sweating your nuts off and drinking warm beer due to all that non-breathable nylon...

For BB&T05 I shall be in the igloo, though it has 5'6" headroom and a Coleman petrol stove replaces the Trangia...

If anyone wants to drop in at Wedg1e Wigwams, expect to find turd-burgers, croissants and proper beer. No lager-drinkers allowed

With an extremely pokey engine for it hanging on the hoist!

Now you know what Shirley was moaning about! It`s much tidier now btw.
