Anyone on here watch it?
Do you believe in it all or think its a load of crap?

I'm quite a sceptic and always try and come up with a rational explanation for everything but theres been a few things happen that have been very weird.
I wonder if being in the dark and being together with the tension and the expectancy causes things to happen.

Never seen the show, however I have had the odd experience of the, err, paranormal kind, even though I'm rather a skeptic experiences like that make you keep an open mind about certain things. Even so I tend to retain a skeptical point of view with most things. It can be hard to tell when your own mind plays tricks on you.

Actually yeah, it does. It's the expectancy that something will happen that can sometimes mislead or trick the mind into, not seeing or hearing things that aren't there, but convincing itself that whatever stimuli it is regestering is in fact paranormal. It's often hard to remain impartial in such situations, especially when the sole (no pun intended) purpose is to try and discover or witness something out of the ordinary.
It's a phenomenon similar to subliminal or auto suggestion. You can convince the mind of anything it wishes to be true.
That said it is still extremely interesting. A colleague of mine dabbles in paranormal psychology and agrees that a large proportion of it is in the mind. But not all of it

Is that the one with that ponce with the earing? I'm gobsmacked that someone so dodgy can fool so many people so easily.
A friends house has ghosts. Her parents run a B+B beside Dun Laoighre harbour (formarly Kingstown) in South Dublin, Where the British navy used to dock during the time of British rule.
Anyway, there is an old British general in full military uniform that appears now and again. The house was origionally gifted to said general as his Irish house while here on duty. Saw his back one time on the way down the stairs standing in a room. Got down to the sitting room and said that I didn't realise there were guests staying in the house since her parents were away. There obviously wasn't guests. Strangly, I didn't stay there for a few weeks.
As true as I'm sitting here, thats what happened. Although I'll probably be ridiculed now.....

That neurotic ghosthunter-ette, really gets on my nerves hyping every little event from a fart to a distant car alarm, with her now commonplace;
"did anyone hear that, what was that??????"
followed closely by bursting in tears, and pleading to leave the room wailing;
"I Dont' like it hear, it frightens me I WANT to go NOW"

Ohhhh. POD you are not suggesting there are some porkies going on here are you? 
. I do watch most episodes but not the live ones as they seem too rigid a format. But i'm sorry this programme just makes me laugh, Derek I think is such a joke and to be honest I think without his 'input' the programme would fall flat.
